I believe this would be an interesting game to watch. On paper you'd think harden since he's gonna be able to score just about whenever he wants on Westbrook and Westbrook may have to settle for some jumpers if harden is quick enough to stay with him. But you have to account for Westbrooks killer instinct that is perfect for 1 on 1 games. Idk too close to call. I'll defer to boom. I'm sure he'll give an honest well informed opinion

Westbrook would dominate. Much quicker.

Harden has consistent range whereas Westbrook isn't a pure shooter. Slight advantage to Harden due to his size.

Harden would light him up in H-O-R-S-E though

These guys are most unstoppable in 1 on 1 situations. I don't think jump shooting is going to matter much.

Quite a high bar you set for an "honest, well informed." opinion.

I know Harden catches hell for his defense, but he wouldn't be able to keep Westbrook out of the lane even on his best day.

you sound like lavar ball constantly acting like 1 on 1 matters. Russell Westbrook sucks as a team player, thats why KD left him, a point guard is the brains of a team and when your pg shoots 42% from the field and 30% from 3 yet takes more shots, including the big ones away from a 7 footer who shoots 50% from the field and 40% from 3, you have to question how small his peanut brain is.

Westbrook is an amazing talent, he's that kid on your team at the YMCA when you're 8 who seemingly wont pass, except he somehow averages 10+ assists a game but it just seems like he's out there taking horrible shot after horrible shot.

Really when is he gonna realize he sucks at shooting 3's and stop jacking up 6 per game? His lack of bball IQ already cost him Durant, who cares if he wins a one on one matchup, James Harden is clearly leading a better team.

Durant is said to own everyone at the team USA practice when they did 1 on 1

Lebron and Kawhi weren't on Team USA this go around. But I could see KD being the best at 1 on 1. His length, shooting, and defense would be hard to match.
