This is a pretty intriguing game, especially with so much MWC stuff this offseason. TCU actually plays 2 ACC teams on the road, Virginia and Clemson. I say TCU puts a MWC beatdown on the ACC schools.

TCU lost 3/4 of thier D-line, best linebacker and both safties. They do have thier best D-lineman back, Hughes.

Since they play early in the season, I say Clemson rolls them. The impressive victory will send a 4-0 Clemson team into the top 10, where they promptly lose 6 of their final 8 games.

They won't leave Virginia unscathed.

If this game was late in the season I would have TCU by 30, but as the first one it will be close. TCU 24-16

And? You bet on every team that Vegas thinks is gonna win? I firmly believe that all the 'genius' media pundits that have is second to last in the ACC will be very surprised.

No beat down on Clemson
Agree on Virginia
TCU 1-1
Agree on Virginia
TCU 1-1

No but if you won every time a Vegas favorite won and lost every time won lost you would win much more often than you lose. Even if we just limited it to games where the spread was 7 or less.
Though I would agree that Virginia could surprise in the ACC, not much seperation there.

With the exception of USC, no one has come into Scott Stadium and completely trounced us in the Groh era (VT once). It'll be TCU's first game of the season and UVA will have had one game under their belt with a win over William and Mary.
If, and IF, they win, it will be very close.

Florida St. @ BYU is another very interesting MWC vs ACC battle. Early spreads have BYU as a 2 pt favorite.
MWC went 2-0 vs the SEC last year, can they go 3-0 vs the ACC this year?

If TCU is able to pass the ball they will win...i dont see their type of running game being effective against Clemson...and I dont believe Clemson will be able to do anything on Offensive...turnovers and special teams will decide this game...probably a 17-13 type of game.
