There was a ton of talk before that game. They were blowing out teams. Outside of bama only game that was within 2 tds was Oregon and that was 13.

LSU was gonna down as the greatest college football team of all time before that game. That line is so dumb.

NO they were not. A great team, BUT when it counts the MOST they did not show up. Just sayin.

Mostly LSU fans that don't realize football started before 2000.

LSU fans were not the ones pumping that greatest teams ever.. so yeah..

It was more of the sporting news world.. but no team lead by JJ at QB was going to win a national title.. even I knew that.

Now this LSU offense with that defense or the juniors of last year would absolutely have a case of one of the greatest teams ever. Even even half of those defensive juniors returned.

I think if an Oregon and Bama are unscathed, and/or an unbeaten FSU/Clem perfect, then OSU and it's weaker schedule, with already close games vs Wisky and NW, is on the outside looking in..and rightfully so

Ohio State people just kill me.

They have an incredible passion for the game but seem incapable of understanding it.

Can you not look at your team and compare their speed and size with the teams in the southeast and realize that it would be no contest?

It would be like a southern hockey team taking on the Montreal Canadians....

And conference clingers like you kill me.

Your team went 3-9 last year, so all you can do is cling to the other teams in your conference.

Ohio State is not currently on the same level as Alabama IMO, but no other team is.

Urban has been very successful in the SEC and knows how to recruit to be successful against the SEC. He has brought in top 2-3 ranked classes since he has been here.

Besides Alabama who has recruited far and away better than any other team, I'm not sure how you can say OSU would not at least compete with the other SEC teams.

Bama, LSU, UGA, UF, USC, and A+M would beat Ohio by a minimum 14 points.

What has any of these teams done for anyone to say these SEC teams would beat Ohio State? Alabama couldn't put CSU away until the 4th quarter. LSU's defense has been gashed on the ground. UGA couldn't put away a Tenn team that hasn't won but two conference games in two whole years. Seriously, what has any of these teams done to merit anyone to say that they would beat Ohio State by AT LEAST two TD's? Let me guess, because of the 2006 and 2007 BCS Title Games? Get this shite out of here.

Honestly, I don't think Ohio State, Alabama, LSU, or UGA look very good this year.

Look at who they are playing. Yes not good but a sleepwalk type game.

Ok. But They have more team speed and depth than OSU. Plus OSU would have trouble keeping LSU under 40.

Wel to give UGA a somewhat mulligan, they just came off a HUGE LSU game that was a nail-bitter and was exhausting and then go on the road and play AT TENN, Which isn't that easy no matter how bad TENN may be. Believe me THAT was Tenns Bowl game last

I just gave you the answers. ALL have a BETTER team than OSSU.

week.

The good news is that if OSU does make the BCS Championship, they get to prove whether or not they belong there. I personally like their offense. Braxton has won me over and their OL plays with great leverage and Hyde is a good back.

Their defense is playing decently against the rush. They will get better as the year goes along as well.

That's funny. OSU is VERY good this year. But STILL would lose to some teams in the country that they are rated higher than. Miller is a bad-arse QB and Urban is getting this team better suited to play the big boys.
