Good luck against Stanford. That is the ONLY roadblock for the Ducks this year. UNLESS they play an SEC team in the NC game.

No one knows who would win those games. That is the beauty of college football.

Not many predicted L'ville to beat UF last year, or for Auburn and Arky to be a combined like 5-20

We have more roadblocks than that and one comes up this Saturday. This is the problem with the perception in the SEC. Oregon falls to one team and they are exposed. The SEC is expected to lose one game. We play @UW, WSU, UCLA, @Stanford the next 4 games. I just looked at the advanced metrics and they have our remaining schedule as the most difficult remaining schedule in all of football.

I picked the Ville cause FLA was not even happy to be there.

I knew this was coming. And if you followed football in a different area instead of wondering how your team was gonna beat fricking Northwestern, You would know this.

FEI has our remaining SOS as #1. Our previous SOS is #123. Our schedule has done nothing to prepare us. We shall see.

OK. That means you PLAY NOBODY OOC and should not be ranked as high as you are. You can't have it both ways dude.

I am not having it both ways. I didn't say we should be ranked as high as we are. Of course, we've done what we should've done. Do I think our remaining SOS is the toughest in the country? I don't know. FEI thinks so. For what it's worth, they have Arizona ranked high and I personally don't think they have a very good quarterback and in the end they will be worse than they are currently showing. I wouldn't die on that battlefield arguing that our SOS is the toughest of any remaining schedule. I will say that we have a tough 2nd half of the season.

Thank you CAPTIN OBVIOUS!!!!!!!!

Look I don't care who you have played. You guys have a GREAT team. UNTIL you face Stanford. THEN we will know if you guys are really that good. Too bad you guys can't play an LSU or Bama or LSU the week after though. Ya see That's what SEC teams go through. The PAC-12 can't say that.

We will not make the BCS Championship game. It will be Alabama vs Oregon/Stanford. We do not deserve to be in the NC game this year...period.

Please for give him, he does not know what he is typing.

Alabama plays at A&M in week 2, and at home against LSU in November. Name me a tough game in between

LSU plays at UGA, then plays MSU. LSU has a really tough 2 game stretch at years end...but they have a bye between those games.

Wow, I just read this entire thread and I must admit most of these OSU fans are dumb. It should be noted, I am of your decent as an alumnus but I have sound judgement to know we don't deserve to be in the title game if we win.

The big ten is a garbage conference and we barely beat Northwestern and Wisconsin. Hell we should have lost in Evanston based on how we played. Going 13-0 and playing no top ten teams is no reason to get in over other teams.

With that said, has anyone seen this secondary. Complete garbage even with a pre All American CB which has underperformed and now without Christian Bryant. The offense looke like a gimmick and Urban gets way to conservative. We can improve over time but we suck as of now.

Every team in the top ten deserves to get in over us save Louisville and Texas AM. They've played way better competition and are in better conferences.

The public image of OSU in tite games isn't great and the team needs to reconstruct their image. Go to the Rose Bowl and prove you were robbed and that will changed the public image next year. No one wants to see OSU in a title game but OSU fans.

Lastly before everyone puts the cart before the horse, don't overlook Michigan. The better team doesn’t always win, just look at 69, 73, 93, 95, 96. For you people that followed Cooper, you know what I'm talking about.

Just give it up, no title game for OSU.

I love when you use the eye test.

OSU has already won its last 2 BCS bowl games in 2010 and 2011. If they had been eligible last year, we wouldn't be having this conversation because they would potentially be defending national champs or have come close. Don't give me this "repair the image" bullsh*t. OSU isn't a place to do that... OSU is a place to win national titles.

Everyone is touting Stanford as a national title contender, but they only beat Wisky in the Rose by a TD. OSU beat them in Wisky last year. Let me let that sink in; the BEST team in the Pac 12 beat, at best, the 3rd best team in the B1G last year by 7 at a "neutral" site.

Vacated Sugar Bowl against Arkansas but whatever.

No OSU isn't a place to do that but when you get destroyed in not one but two title games, you need to clean your a** before you play again. Sorry, but I stand by my comment, OSU needs to show out in the Rose Bowl against some other title contender. Honestly, do you think OSU could contend let alone beat any team in the title game in the top 10?

Ok so you think Stanford is not a title contender because they barely beat Sconnie? Go on....

Stop breaking MSB policy. You're only allowed to use transitive property against Ohio Sate.

If you're an OSU fan, as you claim, you would not have said this last line. OSU didn't belong on the same field as Miami in 02, and Oregon was going to put up 50 in 10. Vice versa, OSU was going to mop the floor with Florida in 2006.

Yes I think OSU could beat every single team in the top 10, ESPECIALLY given a month for bowl prep.

Yeah, winning the Rose Bowl three years ago is really mending the image, when at that time it was all about when will OSU stop the bleeding after losing three straight BCS games.

What I think is funny is that I'm making the claim that OSU "Will" make the Championship game. Never do I say "Deserve" - as if life was magically fair now. Everyone keeps throwing out this "Deserve" word like that is what puts you in the top 2 spots. This ain't Obamacare it's football. You go undefeated, and you have a good shot of making the BCS Game.

I think we will run the table and things will settle out where we are playing against someone else in the BCS game.

Who that will be is the big question.

Does that make me dumb? I could care less.

By chance if they make the game, they will be mud-stomped.
