I don't think he wants to coach at a basketball school (ever since Pitino talked him out of taking the Kentucky job).

Michigan St isn't a blue blood. They are even with Ohio State and no better than that. What are the metrics we are using for "Blue Bloods"

All time Final Fours:

North Carolina 20
Kentucky 17
UCLA 17
Duke 16
Kansas 14
Ohio St 11

Michigan St 9
Louisville 8
Indiana 8

B1G Regular Season Championships:

Ohio St 20
Michigan St 14

B1G Tournament Champions:

Michigan St 5
Ohio St 4

I don't get the rationale for Michigan St being ahead of Ohio St so easily??? Michigan St is NOT a blue blood.

MSU isn't a blue blood. Outside of Izzo and Magic haven't they been mediocre?

I don't like the term blue bloods if otherwise we would be talking about Depaul and Lasalle as the best jobs in cbb.

I look at as which coach can get the perfect storm to hit based on the resources the school has

What's crazy is that Purdue has won 23 B10 titles (even more than Indiana) yet they've won 0 titles and only been to the FF twice.

Earl Grant at Charleston,

Mah dude

He’s ours, he’s from North Charleston originally, keep you paws off him.

I’m glad his name is being tossed around, it means CofC basketball is finally doing good things. I’m tailgating at the tourney tomorrow at 10 as we start our run at the CAA and NCAAs. Let’s goooo.

Grant Riller at CofC is going to be a special player that everyone that follows CBB will know.

Louisville was probably headed that way before the sanctions. They have/had a better claim to a blue blood than Michigan State, Syracuse, etc. They were definitely closing in on IU. I would've put them at a clear #7 and closer to the IU/Kansas group than to the MSU/Syracuse/UConn/Nova group.

Now, who knows.
