Who will be the best pick(player) from RD1 last night?

Im personally going with Josh Rosen.
Perfect fit in a system that has talent with what I believe will be excellent coaching.
Second is Derwin James for the LA Chargers. Drafting him at 17 is on par with Saints having Lattimore fall to them last year unexpectedly. His multifaceted abilities to play coverage deep and play close to the line against the run or any bunch formations will help them tremendously.
The biggest busts in MO will be Darnold and Allen both.
Allen's accuracy issues are not going to be fixed overnight. His short passing game is almost non-existent along with the inability to throw guys open. He needs elite receivers to teally flourish right now. And in the NFL it is difficult for receivers to create enough space for QB's.
Darnold is a turnover machine. He made crucial turnovers at the worst time possible in games last season. He struggles holding onto the football too long and his strip fumbles were numerous. I dont know how he regressed last season, but he did so and it was alarming to behold.

Marcus Davenport. And yes, you can bookmark this thread

I think he has a very good possibility and he is boom or bust candidate. Denver fell hard last year rushing the passer and he will be counted on early to produce. We will find out a lot early on where his career will lead.

It'll be one of the QBs. History says when this many go early, at least two of them turn into elite players.
I'm going to go with Rosen and Mayfield as the top two guys from this draft.

His motor is elite which will keep him from being a bust. Great pick for Denver

Frank Ragnow is about to be a starter for the next 8 years. He may be one of the better players from the first round for his position and role.

At least one of the QBs will pan out and it will be them. For the purpose of the thread, I’ll take Rosen but the truth is that I have no fricking clue and I’m not sure how anyone does

Rosen or Chubb. Still can’t get over that mayfield pick but Browns are gonna Browns.

No, he was one of the worst picks in the 1st.
Second or third round talent taken that early is a head scratcher.

Lester, you my have won the inaginary and self-proclaimed BPE award.
Nelson and Edmunds are safe picks but also sure fire bets to be productive for many years.
Maybe best picks so far but as for best player in the long run a QB is likely to be the best player when said and done.

The delusion of Saints fans isn’t incredible. One good draft and now they think they are the Patriots how about y’all win something of importance and other teams will start taking you a little more seriously. One playoff win. For Pats, Packers and Steelers fans that’s a given every year.
Saints obviously aren’t use to being good. Because the confidence is ridiculous

You need to calm down.
