Varejao

He is actually the center for the Cavs although he will play some 4 if Hollins is in. He's having a solid year. 10 points and 11 boards in 30 minutes a night. Plays some good D and hustle stuff as well.

Dirk is still the best 4 in the league IMO.

Because he is taking the 4th most shots per game in the league. 43% is terrible shooting percentage for a 4-5 in the league. This isn't 1962. That kid of shooting percentage is outright horrible. Even if you take out the 3 point shots, he's still only hitting 44.4% of his field goals. There are 24 guys who play power forward that are shooting better from 2 point range than he is according to ESPN.

And how many rebounds on the offensive glass do those PF's get? 2nd chance points are huge. Kevin Love is 2nd in the league in offensive rebounds. So he misses some shots, but he puts them back up.

And how many of those are shots he misses, rebounded, and then missed again?

Still doesn't excuse the fact that he is a bad defender.

I'd take Amare, Dirk, Ryan Anderson (Shooting better than Love this year), Blake, Josh Smith, Varejao, Aldridge, Bosh, Boozer, and Millsap over him.

And for the people saying he has low FG%, its because he is a one man team. He is forced to shoot more than he should.

Millsap is shooting 55% from the field this year. The only qualified guy in the entire NBA shooting better than him this year is Marcin Gortat who is shooting 59%.
