I don't hate him or anything but a 1 hour TV special is over the top.

Exactly. This media tour is hurting its credibility. He has the right to leave; no problem there.

Just dont make a spectle out of a move that cant even be accomplished with a basketball and only with a pen

Then what is this good morning america thing about then? It clearly isnt now. It was about his Brand in the first place, even if it was hard for him (which it evidently was)

Drew Brees was on either that or The Today Show the other day to sell a book and a video game. Is that wrong?

A show invited him to be a guest. He accepted. Big deal.

The special was too much. Other than that i dont think he did anything wrong

Youd think World Wide Wes wouldve been smarter than that.

He couldve had the exact same set up with Jim Gray talking to Lebron without the whole "Decision" thing and just had ESPN cut into a scheduled free agency program and it wouldnt have caused the uproar that it did. Outside of people that were gonna hate regardless(Skip Bayless)

He can donate more money to charity than that TV special will and without almost anyone ever knowing it.

Again, I don't hate him but I don't believe that special was about charity. It was about promoting him which he has made no secret is important.
