What about the women's coach at Jena that won state titles forever and ever?
The late Jelly Pigot, only thing bigger than her very impressive list of womans basketball state titles was her opinion of herself

bobby nuss, made football semifinals in 1968 and kept us competitive throughout the 70s in the catholic league. we never made the playoffs again until 1992. we named the stadium after him at chalmette
art cedotal, won the catholic league basketball title at chalmette and took us to the top 24 in the 1980s
ed heider, took st. bernard deep in the playoffs in the 1960s, they named the stadium after him and st. bernard didn't make it back for 32 years.
cyril crutchfield, port sulphur and south plaquemines, taking a 1A public school and beating all comers for multiple state championships.
bob becnel, took belle chasse to the dome
paul solis, boothville venice, took rosters with usually less than 20 players and went deep in the 1A playoffs year after year

Are you fricking serious? That guy is a classless piece of shite. He doesn't even really coach the kids. The Asst. Coaches do all the coaching.

WILLIE HOF...coached Butch Duhe at Holy Cross, Mike Miley at East Jefferson, and Tommy Wilcox at Bonnabel...three of the greatest QB's in NOLA history.
Had Bonnabel in State title game in it's fifth year of existence.
Later was President of Jefferson Parish
Great Man

I am surprised that Paul Allen did not say that all coaches from north Louisiana suck.

Tookie Johnson - Baseball/AD - Runnels
His state championships may have been in class B, but he would win at any level.

I agree, he's about as arrogant as they get. He walks up and down the sideline away from things almost like he's watching as a fan.

Kenny Guillot won another state championship at in the 80's at Baton Rouge High School Woodlawn and was on staff with Tara that won a State championship in the 70's. So he has 4 state titles at three different schools and averages 10 wins a year during his carrier. That is pretty damn strong. Thier talent is average at best. Plus he runs a pipeline to LSU.
