I look for Chicago, KC, Oakland, Dallas, Detroit, and Minn to make a push for him.

I'm thinking the Vikes as well

Tarvaris Jackson has to be among the worst QBs in NFL history that have started more than 10 games

Why isn't there an NFL team with a dog as a mascot?

The Saints! We can use him like LSU used Perriloux last year. (that is until we have to kick him off the team that is)

Seattle because Hasselback's injury and he is on the decline. Plus he'd be reunited with new HC Jim Mora Jr. Those 2 are perfect for each other.. Senior Mora was the one who use to trash Mora Jr and Vick I believe.

I'd hate to see the guy back in the league, but Minnesota and KC look like favorites in this race to me. Not sure he's going ot get a lot of attention, but someone will pay him the big bucks to come back in and try to right the ship.

first of all he gets released July 1 and that means he will be in dreadful shape for a pro camp. They don't exactly give you the opportunity to train for an NFL training camp as part of your regualr daily routine at Leavenworth. Think about how long it took Jamal Lewis to get back into shape mentally as well as physically after his much shorter stint in prison

second it is a reach to think that the NFL will allow him to be reinstated immediately after he is released. I also think he will be forced to live in a halfway house and be under an intense probation so that will be a major factor.

If Goodell reinstated him, the only place I could see him going is a team with a very forgiving fanbase, a strong head coach that is firmly in charge of the team, a relatively weak media following that can be managed on a week to week basis and a team in need of an offensive playmaker.

That team to me is San Francisco.

As a life long Cowboys fan I will go on record right now that if they sign Vick to play QB in Dallas I will renounce my fanship and root for another team.

Uh.. let him fry for abusing dogs? Are you mentally retarded? Your perspective on life is pretty skewed.. So I guess Michael Pittman and Larry Johnson should 'fry' because they beat women?

I guess the Browns would be the closest one.

be cool if he went to the Browns just because of all the "Dog Pound" jokes that could be made.

I thought Larry was only spitting at them?

On the Vick issue, I agree that Goodell is unlikely to reinstate him in time for him to get in shape and play in 2009. If he has to wait until 2010, too much could change for a bunch of teams between now and then for there to be any educated discussion at this point. If Miami, Atlanta, and Baltimore can turn it around in one year, no telling who will need/want Vick by the time he's available.

BTW, my thought on this subject has always been that Vick would be better off playing in Canada.
