Which NBA team do you root for and why?

I was a Spurs fan for a long time, but I want to start following a team in the southeast, and was just curious if anyone had any compelling reasons to root for any teams down here other than proximity.

the warriors. but ive also kinda rooted for the cavs, lakers, heat, bucks, and raptors from time to time. ive been feeling the warriors though for like the last 12 months

Pelicans. Because I’m from a Louisiana and after Dominique got traded to the Clippers I realized I was much more of a ‘Nique fan than a Hawks’. Still think about the “what if” if they’d have drafted Karl Malone over Jon Konkac.

I remember being at the game when Morant dunked on Hall in that Alabama game. I really wasn’t keeping up with NBA draft prospects so I didn’t really know who he was. Suddenly I saw the most viscous dunk of my life and realized I was seeing someone way beyond the college level. The whole crowd was in shock.
