Getting tackled (or running out of bounds) with the football while losing and on the last play of the game OR announcers perpetually referring to intentional grounding as a "huge mistake" when it is only a spot foul anyway? (note: I realize the NFL has changed the rule to be worse of 10 yards or spot of the foul). I'm going to have to go with the first choice. I almost literally can't take it when it happens.

It really bothers me when a player fields a kickoff inside the 10 when he is right next to the sideline

QBs running out of bounds behind the line of scrimmage when they could throw the ball out of bounds.

A player returning a blocked PAT attempt that gets tackled without trying to lateral the ball to another player.

Chance of illegal linemen down field at that point

Wrong. If he is out of the pocket it doesn't matter. Ball just has to be thrown past the line of scrimmage.

When QBs are scrambling toward the sideline and instead of throwing the ball away they run out of bounds for a 3-5 yards loss.

The way most coaches handle timeouts late in games. I almost feel like each team should have a designated time guy on the sideline to inform the coach of the best way to manage the clock.

ETA - I see its already been mentioned

Vermillion was correct.

Ineligble man downfield still exists when the QB is out of the pocket

Wildly throw the ball up in the air if you are about to be tackled.

On 4th downs, only the fumbling player can recover a fumble. Otherwise, it's a dead ball at the spot of the fumble. I guess your situation only works if someone catches that throw.

Have you ever, in your entire lifetime of watching football, seen an ineligible man down field penalty called on the quarterback throwing the ball away as he is running out of bounds? shite they barely call it when it's obvious on a regular pass play.

While losing on the last play of the game?

You lose the game by being tackled, that's the mistake.

Playing overly aggressive defense at the 3pt line while up at least 4 points in the closing seconds of a basketball game.
