Is it REALLY that hard to get this right? I see the same mistake all over this website.

I'm not a grammar nazi by any means but I agree with this. Simple 3rd grade grammar lessons could go a long way on this site.

here is no BCS conference they could win. Every BCS conference champ would beat them.

They probably could not win a bcs conference, but they couldn't win the big-12 2 years ago and they beat OU. They could beat the ACC champ or the Big East champ, so could Utah. I would really like to see Utah vs the ACC champ. The entire ACC has won 1 bcs game and so has Utah. It would be the first one to win 2.

Boise + undefeated = grain of salt.

Refresh my memory, was Boise State undefeated when they beat OU in the Fiesta Bowl? 13-0?
And how did their schedule that year (2007) compare to this year?

I hear what you are saying, but I really do believe that TT is the 3rd best team out of them, UT, and OU. And with that being said, it is a rule that a conference can have at the most 2 teams in a BCS game. So I don't really think they're getting screwed.

Well Oregon could still win the Pac10 and they already beat them

If SC loses to UCLA, Oregon gets a split with OSU and USC technically even though they wouldn't get the Rose Bowl bid

Damn forgot USC hadn't played UCLA. Of course Oregon did go to their 4th string QB that game.

The SEC Champ loser I think will get screwed in favor of a 2nd Big 10 school, which is bunk.

I think if Boise is ahead of tOSU they will get in. As of now they are ahead of them, and will remain ahead of tOSU

Not going to happen. 2 teams from non-BCS conferences can't get in according to BCS rules. Utah is in, Boise St is out.

Problem I have with these Boise like teams is that their schedule doesn't force them to play week in and week out aka LA Tech, New Mexico State, Hawaii like teams.

I was just thinking of this. Although this would mean that tOSU and Boise St get the nod over a 2nd SEC school. If Alabama gets blown out it might happen, but if Florida gets blown out it might too. Won't happen, but interesting to think about.

False

2 Teams can't get autobids

That is false. Only one in the top 15 is guaranteed in, but there can be more than one.

Have you guys been hiding in a cave? It's cut and dry. There are 10 BCS slots (no more than 1 at-large and no more than 2 from each conference is allowed).

(2) Big 12 teams (Okla and Texas)
(2) SEC teams (Ala and FL)
(2) Big 10 teams (PSU and Ohio St)
(1) Pac-10 (USC)
(1) Big East (Cincy)
(1) ACC (BC or Va Tech)
(1) at-large (Utah)
