I have been using Caesars, but wondering if another app is better.

The concept of “betting odds” is to get the public to place equal money on both sides of the line.

So how do you define “best?”

It's circumstantial. There is no answer.

That being said, I primarily use draftkings or fanduel.

Yeah, they're usually just different (not necessarily better). It's good to have a few to shop around a bit. That said, I noticed for some things like tennis, Fanduel seems to have slightly better payout numbers for the most part. But, they tend to have relatively low max bets.

This. Check multiple apps and see where the best value is.

The downside there is it's a lot of work.

I probably should have included lines. Which app do you feel has better odds/betting lines?

i think Caesars has higher lines than others...based off what I see on the Action app

When I was using them all I tended to think betmgm had the best lines most times. However it didn’t matter if I got it at -115 instead of -120 I still lost more than I won so that was the end of that eventually.

Yeah that's why people who look for arbitrage have accounts at many different sportsbooks.

All of them and none of them. Depends on the specific game and bet. I find Caesars usually has the worst lines.

I like BetRivers. But FanDuel and ESPN usually have decent lines too.

There's no "best odds"

Its best to have multiple options and price shop. Margins are thin

Best odds overall would be be defined as the lowest juice added to the lines.

To answer the op, all the major public books juice the lines roughly the same. Overall, the sports betting public isn't price sensitive so no book runs on the platform of offering lower juice.

Offshore, pinny offers -104 main lines or at least used too. Circa in Nevada/Colorado likes to promote their futures as "only" having 25% juice.

If you are price sensitive, the answer is to have accounts at all books that you can and then line shop when selecting a side that you like. It's a bit more work, but can significantly add up over time.

Oh and avoid parlays, fanduel profits 17% on single game parlays, which is why every book tries to shove them down your throat.

This is false, books do take a position on some games vs what the public thinks will happen.

Varies by state, in Tennessee, Caesars odds be an absolute shite, like a -117 baseline

ESPN Bet consistently has “slightly” better odds. They have to bc they’re still the new guy

I like checking covers.com for best odds

That's specifically because the state of Tennessee mandated a minimum 10% hold by sports betting operators...

Certainly, I just don't speak on things I'm not well versed on.

Do you disagree with what I said, or you're just truly impressed by my vast knowledge?

Depends on the game. There is very little difference amongst the retail public sites. They all get their stuff from kind of a big three of makrket making sites.
