I admit, I thought GT would do reasonably well, but I didn't expect them to do this well and certainly didn't see them beating Georgia this year. I'll have my share of humble pie thank you.

Haha, nice bump. I honestly thought this would be his last year earlier in the season. Barely survived Ga Southern. Now I think they could ruin FSU's playoff chances.

There were about a dozen of these threads that could have been bumped. All of them wrong, of course.

Paul Johnson should go coach at a lower level. Fcs or even division 2 maybe. But fact is he will never dream of winning it all running that offense. I love to watcg tech play, because that offense is so entertaining to me. They do a good job of running it to perfection. But the fact is, with PJ at head coach, Tech is destined for mediocrity year in and year out at tech. That is the simple truth

10-2 with wins over all of our major rivals and a likely Orange Bowl bid = mediocrity. Got it.

Beating UGA twice pretty much signs him on for life.

Give the man Paul Hewitt's contract!

Seriously, at this point if he sustains seasons similar to this year, I wouldn't have any issue with him staying at Tech until he decides to retire.

Gotta admit, I thought GaTech would be irrelevant in the ACC this year and he'd get fired. Now he's got a legit chance to win the conference. Craziness.

i look for ga tech to continue being really competitive over the next few years. running that offense. the more defenses adjust to defend the passing game the tougher itll be to play well against the triple option/heavy running attack teams.

Yeah I figured they would suck again, but the defense has played pretty well late in the season. Also that QB is smallish but he's very athletic. I think they have a real shot at beating FSU. It would be awesome if they did. The committee would be all twisted up.

Thomas gives Tech a legitimate passing threat which makes the running game more effective. Didn't even need to use it against UGA.

The simple truth is they 10-2 this year. The simple truth is that you may not be very smart
