I figure they'll take deals that will pay them roughly what they're making now
FWIW, that wouldn't be a slight paycut as you eluded to before, that would be a pretty large paycut.

People around the team continue to talk about a 10 year run. I really don't think they'd be making those statements, if Mickey wasn't on board with the theory

Well, it obviously wouldn't be the same big 3 for the next 10 years, so at some point, the ones not named Lebron will not be resigned.

Mav Carter bought Cavs season tickets for the 2014 season. First time since Lebron left.

Interesting.

I think he stays in South Beach. No income tax, incredible team around him, young coach, and its IN frickING SOUTH BEACH AS A RICH ATHLETE.

Doubt he leaves, unless the Lakers or Celtics move heaven and earth.

Why would someone buying season tickets be reported?

Doubtful he'd make it to the weekend is what I meant

No, I guess I wasn't expecting much with a team full of d-league players and injuries.

I think he would have survived if it wasn't for the collapses that were becoming chronic.

Yea, the constant 3rd quarter blowouts were becoming a problem. I chalked it up to the Cavs tanking though.

Plus, Lebron and Kyrie will be filthy.

I disagree. I think they'd take the ball out of each others' hands too much.

I doubt he goes back to the Cavs. If I had to guess I'd say he stays in Miami.

Joking? How the hell do you buy season tickets two years in advance? Plus he'd be the dumbest bastard alive to do something like this and open up a can of worms when he could easily just obtain them at a later date.

I have said Cleveland forever. He only has two realistic options because he needs to settle down with a team. Stay with the Heat or go back to Cleveland. Great players are almost always connected with one team.

If the Heat win the next two years (quite possible), that will give him 3 rings. If he can win 2 or 3 in Cleveland while reaching 6 or 7 MVPs, he is going to be in the conversation for GOAT with MJ.

I dont know much about taxes but if he were to say Florida was his "residence" and still played in Cleveland and had a house there as well but not his "residence" wouldnt he get the income tax benefits of Florida and not Ohio? Like how people from Louisiana who work in Texas get paid in Texas but pay La taxes?

Also, to those saying LeBron doesn't care about money he has always said he wants to make over ONE BILLION DOLLARS in his career.. So yeah.. He cares about money. And I'm pretty sure a year ago he made a little comment saying he could see himself coming back to Cleveland or something of that nature. Let me see If i can find it real fast..

Doesn't rule out cleveland

Honestly I think if he moves to another new team it will start to tarnish his legacy a bit. Look at Shaq. Dude kept moving around for so long people started to forget how much of a beast he was.

He doesn't want to go to Chicago to be in MJ's shadow. He doesn't want to go to LA to be in Kobes Shadow. He will make his own shadow and either finish most of his career in Miami or in Cleveland.
