He isn't going to NY because of Melo, and they wont have the room to sign him. He wont go to LA if Kobe is still there, which is up in the air at the moment.

Lebron is a non-restricted free agent right?(without injury)He will be the best basketball player in the world and maybe the most famous athlete on the planet. You are trying to tell me NY wouldn't dish Melo and LA wouldn't negotiate Kobe to retire or take a cut. I think NY is more negotiable than LA.

Houston with the new upcoming Flash aka "James "the Beard" Harden", then add in some sort of big man not named Dwight Howard and you could possibly have a better version of the Heat, in a better city than Miami. No, I'm not serious just to be clear.

They would have to trade him, which would be hard to do. I dount they would though.

He would have to retire, which I doubt he will do unless the injury forces him to.

What are you talking about, why wouldn't they? Melo is a top 10 baller, other teams would take him. He isn't injury prone so teams would pay the salary.

I concur.

In order for that to work other teams would have to be able to match his salary in the trade for players with expiring contracts. Teams that are looking to deal expiring contracts are usually rebuilding teams that are looking for draft picks.

Why would he leave?

Why on earth would he go back to the cavs?

Cause he wants to be loved by all, and his hometown hating him eats at him. He wants to right that wrong. Plus, Lebron and Kyrie will be filthy.

Shouldnt of burned all those jerseys...

Roger. Wherever Lebron wants to play he will. I don't care if its Tulsa, they will build an arena and create a team. However, you got teams like NO that are a couple pieces from a conference contender. They know they don't have a chance at the best player in free agency. Therefore they pick up a player like Carmelo for a young buck and a draft pick. This frees up space for NY to have the most famous athlete in the world play in the most famous arena in the world. Ballen!

They will be obsolete anyways. He wore 23 here.

quote:my brother and i were talking the other day how difficult it would be rooting for the lakers- even with LBJ on them. i mean- i rooted for the cavs, switching to the heat was no prob, but the lakers are almost impossible to get behind. especially with my up and coming rockets battling them in the western conference playoffs every year
He wont go to LA if Kobe is still there

I think he goes back to the Cavs. I think he wants to prove he can win a championship for his hometown and win one not on a "super" team. Kyrie being there would definitely help. I see Kyrie being a top 5 player in the league by then.

I know, thats why yall burned his jersey with the no 23 on it
