the only reason holm was able to box her is because she displayed amazing takedown defense from the clinch. That takes a lot of training, and she's been at the top mma gym all throughout her boxing career.

She'd caught a lot of flack from Correia for having no stand-up. Maybe she wanted to prove to the world that she could stand up with the fighter many say has the best stand-up in female MMA. That decision proved lethal, if true.

She tried to take her down multiple times but she couldn't. Holly was just 10x better.

I only recall maybe 3 times where Ronda got herself into position to take her down. One time Holm stopped the take down attempt, another time Holm actually took Rousey down, but then immediately got right back up to play to her strengths. The only other time I remember was early in the first round where they were sort of rolling around with no real rhyme or reason lol. but, I wouldn't necessarily say it was multiple times.

She tried a few judo trips against the cage. I think she should have tried to get her down more but it's not like she just straight boxed her from the get go.

maybe we were watching at different points then because all I recall was Ronda eating straight left hands from Holly all night. So much so that Ronda swung and miss a few times to the point where she lost her balance with that final time being the knockout.

This is why in the Gandalf vs Dumbledore thread Dumbledore wins.
Dumbledore was a dueler and won all his fights vs other similarly skilled wizards.
Gandalf didn't and couldn't win a fight against any of his contemporary wizards.

That's mostly what the fight was, but there were times when they clinched and holly did a great job of nullifying her judo

oh absolutely. I think it speaks more to just how hard Holly trained as opposed to anything else. She came in with a gameplan and really executed it to perfection.

Still waiting. She couldn't toss around a female that was equally as strong as her but some will still think she could toss mayweather around. he would break her jaw(if not broken already)
Ironically enough, that's how she lost. Straight punches to the face wore her down.
If Rousey couldn't see those punches coming, Mayweather would eat her alive.

Money doesn't need to train shite to beat Rousey. She wouldn't even see it coming.
You need to realize Mayweather only needs to connect ONCE to knock her out.
Her only chance is to rush him and get him on the ground. That's not happening. He's too quick.

rousey would never be able to get floyd on the ground. he could let her get in and grab him and she still isn't going to be able to do shite.

Remember, she said she could take him specifically in a no rules fight. That means eye gouging, biting, testicle-smashing, etc. are allowed. Yes, she could do it.
Nobody, including Rousey, has ever said she could beat Mayweather in a fight with rules.

So, your assumption is that every advantage in a no holds type barred scenario would go to her over the bigger stronger man, who just so happens to be one of the greatest technical boxers of all time?
Got it.

Nobody that knows shite ever believed that. Only mma tards that think mma overcomes all.
It would have been an embarrassment to both sports.

He would beat her to death in a no rules fight.

I could think he's the single worst human being to ever walk the face of the earth, and I would never say, think, or intimate that.
But that's because I'm not fricking retarded.

Reread what I posted. I said she *could* do it. I did not say she had all the advantages and is destined to win no matter what. But is it possible she'd dodge his first punch and send her knuckles through his windpipe and crush it, rendering him unable to breathe? You bet.
