When the devil rays dropped the devil they changed their nickname

of rays to mean a "beacon that shines throughout florida". Sorta of like a ray of light. Yet they kept a stingray logo on their sleeve. I am probably the only one who never got that memo. I just thought they dropped the devil to be more pc.

A lot of people think this, but I'm pretty sure it was just TB trying to shake things up. We even kept the tank in the outfield with the stingrays. That will always be a part of the team in some way, I think.
