I think injuries have taken their toll on him. He just looks tired playing.

13 targets with 3 receptions and 39 yards is very bad regardless of a bad pass or good coverage.

Green was also mostly doubled covered all night being a top receiver like he is, and some of Burrows throws were off target to him.

Not sure if serious.

He and Burrow weren’t on the same page. Burrow’s worst passes were to AJ.

There was at least 3 balls that he should have caught but didn’t

He won’t run a route across the middle and is incapable of beating a guy deep. The league knows and as a result they sit in the “physical” out route he runs.

Yeah, he's never gonna be in that elite tier again but he'll be fine

he didn't drop anything too egregious tonight. Joe has got to give him some better balls to catch

AJ is clearly and rightfully burrow's bail out guy. just puts it in his vicinity or "targets" him when he's in trouble. AJ didn't have a good game IMO but using targets is lazy.

He ran a route right into the teeth of the defense last night and nearly got killed.

Even in his prime, was AJ ever a top 3 WR in the league? I say top 10 but not tier one elite.

The year I picked him up in FF and his main focus became fighting DB's over the 10# gold chain he wore instead of catching a ball.

He’s a 3 time second team all pro
So I’d say atleast 3 times he was judged around that

The old Julio vs AJ Green threads made even the Henry vs Fournette threads look like child's play.

There were some piping hot takes back then

He had top 3 ability for sure and I would argue he put together top 3 seasons a few times. WRs are only as good as the situations they are put in.
