Didn't that same thing happen last week?

The difference this time around is that the Cavs are the defending champs, and at the time were on a road trip where inclement weather was affecting their schedule.

They're just waiting for the playoffs to start; no reason to use up all this time and energy on all these pointless regular season games.

Need help. Korver ain't it we knew that when they made that deal. Like Lebron said last night they aren't winning a title with liggins and felder in the rotation. Should still pretty easily win the conference. Finals are gonna be the 5 gamer we expected to see last year before all injuries and suspensions.

Nothing really. Only the playoffs matter and they'll be in the finals

Autopilot until the 1 seed is clinched then they flip a switch once the playoffs start. why waste your energy chasing a meaningless win record if you still get the 1 seed EVERY YEAR. Lebron is playing chess while everyone else is still playing checkers. LeGOAT

cavs will beat the warriors again. per usual... its regular season. They are bored, they will kick in gear come playoff time. The only reason warriors won 2 yrs ago was because kyrie and love were hurt. The cavs play when they need to. Everyone knows it will be cavs/warriors. They know it, we know it. They are just bored.

Lebron doesn't have enough playmakers! He also wants a new coach.

I know it's the regular season, but I went last night & like another poster said, they have to find someone to handle the ball other than Ky & LeBron. They've played like 40+ mins in the last 3 games. But they made their bed with these trades. I don't think Korver is the answer bc his minutes will decrease when JR comes back and he won't get enough mins to find a rythm. I saw where they said that Cleveland should make the push for Melo.... who the hell are they giving up??? Love?

"Every one knows" that missing Love and kyrie only made them a count hair worst team. Like 1 point per 5 games if you're a net rating kinda guy. What they lost offensively they made up on D almost point for point.

You've used this shtick before. Net rating without context is meaningless. Could your beloved net rating stats have to do with the fact that Lebron played on an otherworldly level without Love and Kyrie? Yes it could, and yes that is what happened. Lebron eventually wore down in the end of some of those games, understandably. If Lebron could have stayed close to that level, with Kyrie and Love picking up some of the slack - they would have won in 6. Also you're using such a small sample size of "without Love and Kyrie", and that sample size occurs in the biggest Cavs games where they are playing their absolute best.

ETA: Even beyond the net rating, you ignore the other impact of losing 3 starters. Depth (while playing the best bench in the league). Beyond your ridiculous and shallow argument that Kyrie and Love wouldn't have made a difference, the Cavs had to shorten their rotation, play fricking Kendrick Perkens, which obviously would lead to less fresh legs in the fourth. It wasn't sustainable. Net rating simply shows how well certain players (Bron and Delly notably) stepped up. There is no rational reason to think they would not step up with Love and Kyrie healthy.

frick me for responding to a post about how playing Kendrick Perkins in the finals and Delly for 40 minutes is about the same as having Kevin Love and Kyrie

He blocked curry driving to hole.

I could also say that the only reason the Cavs won last year is because of the Draymond suspension

Also, Heat should have lost to the spurs if it wasn't for Ray Allen saving LeBron after his awful turnovers in the 4th quarter

You could say that about any game, LeBron's teammates in the finals two years ago were not as awful as everyone thinks, Bron just jacked up 40 shots a game to make himself look like a hero

and you would be wrong... did they lose draymnond for the whole series? Hell warriors only needed to win one game. ONE out of 3...The cavs didnt have love or kyrie they whole series. Big difference

Your 2/3 best player for one game =/= your 2 AND 3 best player for the entire series (Kyrie played 1 or 2 games) plus another starter (Shumpert)

You're using one single shot in a 7 game series, albeit an important one. Lebron also got them back into game 6 to even give them a chance - not that that would matter to you. And then also had to win in OT and put up the trip double in game 7 to win it. But yeah, he didn't make every shot. Bum.

Absolutely. With Mozgov, Delly, James Jones all playing around 25+ minutes per game - what player couldn't compete in the finals wit that?!
