What would Paul Johnson or Ken Niecjbcuvaghvfjjjf do at a school like LSU or Bama?

Theoretically, let's say they could acquire a similar level of talent as those schools currently recruit willing to play their system and had them run the triple option as efficiently as they have elsewhere. Those schools have talent even superior to that seen on those 90s Nebraska teams that ran for 350 YPG every year.

Combine a rushing attack like that that holds the ball for 40 minutes a game with defenses like those schools are accustomed to and I could see an incredible level of dominance. It's such a low risk system that beating them would be near impossible. They'd FB dive you into oblivion. Nobody can really practice against or simulate that offense in 2017 and the only reason Navy and GT lose is because they get overpowered due to relatively poor talent, but they still win 8+ games a year.

People say it wouldn't work, but I don't believe it. I think they'd dominate.

the triple option?

Ga Tech is currently 126th the nation on fumbles

Last year they were 117th, just ahead of Army

Think about Sims at QB with Henry at BB and Yeldon/Drake in the slots with Howard and Cooper split out wide...

Domination

In the case of GT, their scheme contributes to the lack of talent. No talented QB or WR is going to want to take part in a scheme like that.

Because their players aren't very good. Nebraska once went an entire season without a fumble under Osborne.

But the fact that GT routinely fumbles a lot and still wins so many games and rarely gets blown out kinda speaks to my point though. They grind out so many yards and so much time that other teams frequently get only 6-7 possessions a game.

You are right on. We aren't fumbling on pitches or reads it is literally people being stripped in the open field. Bad players fumble if given enough chances

First of all, they've produced three all-pro NFL receivers in the last 10 years including one of the most gifted ever.

Second, the fact that they're GT has more to do with it than anything else. It's a nerdy engineering school within a three hour drive of 4 of the most prestigious college programs in history. They get players that every other ACC and SEC program in the region pass on by default.

Theyd do really well IMO. Not Saban well, maybe Stallings well

Pretty sure Thomas and Megatron were both recruited under the previous coach IIRC.

Our QBs and WRs have been by far our best players recently

It is our OL and defense that have been garbage

Or go to a school with only engineering degrees, and not many hot girls

QB situation wouldn't be any worse for LSU with either as Head Coach.
