Article on Colin Kaepernick by Jason Whitlock.
Article on Colin Kaepernick by Jason Whitlock.
quote:
At the time of this nation’s founding, slavery was a global sin committed by black, white, brown and yellow sinners across the planet. Black people in Africa owned white (and black) slaves. Black people in America, as early as the 1600s, owned black (and white) slaves. That’s not a typographical error. Black people in America owned black and white slaves.
The United States of America, because of the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution, was actually a global leader in abolishing slavery. As writer and historian Thomas Sowell has repeatedly pointed out, long after the U.S. Emancipation Proclamation, blacks in Northern Africa still bought, sold and utilized white slaves.
quote:
In 1852, when Douglass gave his speech, he appropriately characterized the Fourth of July as a great big lie, a failure to live up to the words printed at the founding of this nation.
In 2020, given all that we know and all the blood spilled in pursuit of the ideals Jefferson expressed, the Declaration of Independence is the most important document in the African-American journey.
Without it, we might be like West Africa, Haiti, Pakistan, India and other places and countries that have yet to rid themselves of slavery.

For a board that wants politics out of sports, doesn't watch ESPN, and doesn't care what athletes have to say, there sure are a lot of Kaepernick threads.
FWIW, of course Kaep is a fraud.

Lol. You’re just mad because he’s actually citing history and has an original thought instead of parroting Jemele Smith or Screamin A Smith.
I usually agree with about 2/3 of his articles, but even the ones I don’t agree with, most of the time I have to respect him because he actually uses some basis of reality for his argument instead of going straight to victimization and white supremacy.

I only want MY politics in sports
No kneeling or liberal politics
If they were all wearing MAGA hats on the sideline I wouldn’t mind if!
And that’s why I’m boycotting !

Posting an article that calls somebody a fraud when it's written by Jason Whitlock is quite amusing.

I wonder does he still calls NCAA athletics slavery like he used to or did he realize that wasn't gonna fly with his fanbase.
Whitlock would murder Lebron if he had said this about James Wiseman.

Agree with what Jason is saying or not, that’s one of the best articles I’ve see on the issue. Researched and eloquently stated.
BTW, he’s right.

What is the “bullshite”, or is your only argument that he is fat?
