I think Demarcus Cousins could end up being the best from both of those teams

doubt it

he probably will end up like Derrick Coleman

Fab5 by far, the team that lost to an all-time back-to-back '91-'92 NCAA Champ Duke in 1992, and absolutely loaded UNC Sr laden team in 1993..it's not even close.

The Fab 5 would've smoked Wall and Co by 12+ in a tourney game.

Fab 5 navigated to b-2-b title games as Frosh and Sophs, at a time when NCAA Hoops still meant something, before the NBA's raids had sucked the life outta NCAA Hoops fully. Back when many teams still had many 20-22 yr old players.

Im talking about there freshman year.

2 seconds of thought would have told you that Mich fab 5 made it to back to back NC games as fresh and soph whereas that UK team made it to the elite eight. Not only that, but UK didnt even start 5 freshman so I dont understand the relevance of comparing 5 freshmen to UK's mixed age squad. Even so, Mich was better anyway. Greatest class ever recruited

Fab Five Draft:

1st overall - Chris Webber
5th overall - JuJuan Howard
13th overall - Jalen Rose
2nd round, 6th pick - Jimmy King

Ray Jackson was not drafted nor ever played in the NBA.

Most ppl forget the Fab Five was just seeded as 6 seed in the 1992 Tournament.

They were impressive, but the Fab Five is a little over hyped.

And you may be forgetting just how deep the college hoops landscape was back then, how matured and savvy the teams, how old most were, how many 7-fters and "true big men" there were and how they could play with their backs to the basket(unlike today's players) , and how many guys on the better teams would've been current current NBA'ers, if in this era.

How coaches weren't hamstringed by the 20 hr rule, or lack of enforcement to such rules back then. How players back then actually practiced endless FT shooting, used the glass, played more brutally physical compared to today's game, etc..

Granted, many from that era would gas fast if running with today's kids and game, if not without more modern aerobic training and conditioning.
