now watching a video afterward ive teared up a little thinking about the moment, but during a live event, never

Saints winning the superbowl and getting to share that moment with important people who are no longer here. The pick 6 with porter pointing at the camera, felt like he was connecting with all of us. Louisiana guy too, so it was a hell of a great moment.

Michael Dyer run...got panicked and chest got tight. The moment I stepped out of University of Phoenix stadium and looked up at the stars...it hit me and I shed a couple tears but didn't really cry. I was just silent.

Even for that, you have to remember that with 2 minutes and change we had tied the game with a TD and 2pt conversion, which had come after a fourth down conversion, which had come after a forced fumble, so it felt like an answered prayer. Tough to lose after that.

And this.
Lob to Shaq

Game 7 of the 2000 Western Conference Finals. Down 3-1 to the Lakers, against all odds we beat LA in LA in Game 5, came home to win Game 6, and then led by 15 pts in the fourth quarter of Game 7. Went ice cold in the fourth and freaking choked a trip to the finals. The East was horseshite back then, and the WCF winner was heavily favored in the Finals. I was 9 years old and wept all night till I fell asleep.

Still the worst sports loss of my life.

Never really cried for a meaningful sports moment, thiough I've gotten misty eyed swelling with pride for big lsu gam and when the saints won Super Bowl.

What really gets me is great shows of sportsmanship, like the videos of a highschool kid letting the challenged kid pin him in a wrestling match or the kid who scored a 75 yard td bc the other team backed off.

Even better was when that kid with autism lit up a hs game

I am sure that if we hadn't had won that NC, then this year would have been pretty rough. I remember walking out of the Rose bowl thinking "ugh that really really sucks" but was no where near on the verge of crying.

Josh Hamilton's three run home run in the bottom of the 1st inning in game 1 of the 2010 ALCS. I was completely overcome with emotion and it caught me off guard

I was younger, but I remember 2 games where I have cried, both LSU losses.

LSU capital 1 bowl vs Iowa. Saban's last game. Looking back I realize how dumb I was for crying because of how meaningless the game was

LSU losing to Arkansas at the miracle on markham. Last minute drive to win it. I think 2002 was the year.

Absolutely this. 17 year old me, my dad, and my gramps never thought we'd live to see the day, and minutes later we visited a family relative who didn't and had ourselves a drink with him.

USMNT loss to Belgium
Mizzou loss to Norfolk State
Mizzou loss to Oklahoma, Big 12 Championship in 2007

Happy:
Sporting KC MLS Cup Victory

When the Nebraska football team let the little 5 year old boy with cancer run for a touchdown with the whole team behind him chasing him and then lifting him up after he scored

Cried like a little bitch

Got misty eyed when the Saints won the NFC title game.

That's the only two

I remember this like it was yesterday. That walk off home run in the bottom of the 9th was my favorite moment in sports history.

Yeah...I teared up a little when they let Steve Bartman come out onto the field and participate in the dogpile...
