Also ironic this happened at the Big 12 championship game. Maybe they would have changed the actual rules at the last second like the league did?

Big comeback in the first round as the left dude choked when having to step a foot back. Late counts on the OT. And then they either read the rules wrong or they completely ignored that they said each person gets 3 throws. SAD level shenanigans!

Apparently they just miscounted the Ryan guys throws in first OT. He only had 5 and Ryan had 6.
