Shhhh. We've already had one mild arguement this day about this type of subject. No need for another.

Ah. Sorry. I didn't read the whole thread. I just saw redneck stirring the pot. I just happened to remember in some of the soccer smack in some of the other posts.

No big deal, it's just rather futile because people have their own personal inclinations.

Should I have gotten the US home jersey instead of the plain navy blue away?

I just felt like the plain navy away jersey is a safer bet. I want to be able to wear it in 2010 and the white/light blue pinstripes one seems a bit pretty and like it will look outdated in a couple years.

And redneck, I used to be exactly like you. What won me over was the 2002 World Cup - I hated my job and had a great time playing hooky and watching the matches with my friends in Jackson, MS instead of working. We just sat in a bar and got shitfaced every day for a week. It was great. I came to appreciate the game - it's really something.

Then in 2006 I was in South Beach for the quarters and semis and everybody there was so into it - wearing their french and brazilian colors. It was impossible not to get hooked.

Why not just ignore the threads instead of trying to share your dislike for the game in multiple threads?

I give up...

Cool jerseys, everyone.

Ah, sometimes I forget I own this one. It's a trainer kit replica, with a green stripe instead of a yellow one across the chest.

I like the gray/navy US jerseys more than the white ones.

I have a few Charlton Athletic, one Barca home, with Messi on the back, England Home with Gerrard and away which is blank.

As for the wearing other countries colours, it's cool with me, I like the yellow of Brazil and orange of Holland, wouldn't mind wearing either if they came up for the right price.

I almost got a Netherlands jersey when I was there last summer. I like it with the light blue socks they wear.

Oh yeah, they were knocked out of Euro competition the day before I had to go back home.

Crew white jersey. They don't wear it for games, it's kind of a practice jersey.

Alejandro, are you sure that jersey isn't dark gray.. or black? It doesn't seem to have much blue in it to me.
