I don’t think there has been a clear top 2 like this since UNC vs Illinois in 2005.

Odd statement considering that Purdue is the likely top seed.

Aren't they going to have like 9 teams in the tourney? And isn't that the most of any conference?

They're good but they game the system by inflating their NET rankings against weak OOC teams and then beat up on each other when it won't hurt them. Houston is legit but I'm not sold on their mid-tier teams. I wish we still had the SEC-Big 12 challenge.

I’m warning everyone, don’t fall for Houston.

They are banged up and they were down in half their conference games in the second half. They are not a dominant team

Pick them in the final four at your own peril

Big 12 went like 10-2 against the SEC this year

Houston is overrated.

They were not all that challenged in non conference play. Aggie had them on the ropes.

UConn is probably a safe bet for at least a final 4, though they will have a target on their back.

Depends how the bracket is when it comes out. I could see 12-15 teams that would not shock me to see in the Final 4.

A fan of a team who is #5 in NET, 2-7 against quad 1, and 2-4 against the top 25 wants to lecture about other teams “inflating” their NET ranking.

The SEC won it a whopping 3 times out of the ten years it took place, but do you.

Honestly FAU has zero business being in the tournament. St. John’s has a better resume in almost every metric that the committee is supposed to consider. Obviously that Cinderella run last year is still paying dividends.
