I think he just needs 1 major and he will get hot. He will never play like he did in the 2000s again, though.

People need to stop talking about tigers swing resulting in his health. Butch has said multiple it wasn't the swing it was him. His swing with Butch would have lasted as long as he does.

And Tiger has said multiple times that his body wouldn't allow him to continue to make that swing. Why should I believe Butch over Tiger? Butch is obviously going to defend his swing philosophy, and Tiger wouldn't just go change his swing because he was bored winning 4 majors in a row.

Golf is better when he matters.

All a head game now.

Like Phil in 2004. If he just gets one more he still has the years in him to get more. 5 more????

Probably not, but he doesn't need to return to that form to be the GOAT.

You're not saying he is??

Jack #1

Tiger #2

5 majors is just too much.

Tiger is 37. He has plenty of years of golf left in him.

This is true, but to be the undisputed GOAT, he needs to have a run that would be a better career than any current player besides him has had over the next 8-10 years. It would be an amazing feat if he could win 5 more majors.

In his 40's?

Seriously? Yeah, that's comparable.

Brand and finances.

For a few years, his brand was in serious jeopardy. But now that he's won several times, has new contracts pending, and new tv commercials with Rolex, EA, and Nike. He's clearly relaxed and geared down.

When did you ever see Tiger dating someone high profile, attending hollywood type galas, or being photo'd with his children on vacation by paparazzi. He's clearly working on the next 40 years of TW brand.

I meant 5 majors. Not years.

I think he has more years. Modern fitness and equipment give him 10 more years.

Hell Kenny Perry got a sniff of a green jacket at 48. And he is no physical specimen.

I know you have some sort of connection to Butch because you're always defending him on here. So put that aside and think like you don't have that connection. Why would Tiger lie about giving up the swing that had him winning the US Open by 15, the British Open by 9, and 4 majors in a row? Are you saying he did that just to spite Butch or something? It doesn't make sense.

Tigers drought from age 32-37 or whatever is not the same as jack's from age 40-46.
