Once at the top of the mid majors now they aren’t even competitive

What other coaches did they interview?
Why promote from within if Jewett wasn’t good enough?

Jim Schlossnagle left to become a HC at UNLV, a couple year later Katrina hit, they were never the same.

Pierce had them in the postseason his two seasons. They just booted the last two hires.

Tulane baseball has been treading water for 15 years now. The cost of attendance is too high and Tulane appears to be de-emphasizing baseball.

Really thought Jewett had the roster talented by end of his tenure.

Hiring his assistant was just plain dumb.

The current coach was a lazy hire and the AD should be canned for it.

Didn’t Tulane just win Cotton Bowl? His job might be safe

Yeah Tulane just won a New Year 6 bowl game and finished the season in the top 10.

I can deal with being shitty in a minor sport, but for the life of me I don’t get the Uhlman hire unless you’re intentionally trying to destroy the baseball program.

Why do they hate Matt Riser so much?

If I was the AD that’s who I would have hired. He’s a good young coach and probably not overly expensive

It seems like hiring him would mesh perfectly with lazy and being understandable to everyone if it flops.

He’s terrible, Tulane doesn’t want him, they should let him stay at SLU until he retires.

“Those who don't know history are destined to repeat it.”

ULL hired their own Chris Scelfo in Michael Desormeaux to be their Football Coach.

Tulane hired their own Dennis Allen in Jay Uhlman to be their Baseball Coach.
