I'd rather just redo CFB with 6 10 team conferences. Each team plays 9 conference games, 1 OOC, then we seed and do playoffs with 2 teams getting first round byes. Everyone else is now D1AA. D1AA becomes D2, etc

i addressed this shite two weeks

quote:

all in all, i don't think ND really makes any more than a big ten team (with the advent of the BTN) or obviously the SEC, under its new deal. in fact, i'd actually agree that ND makes slightly less than teams from those conferences.

however,IMO i really dont think the dollar amount is what's important to Notre Dame. it's exclusivity. what's important to ND is that they have been and are the only college football team with an exclusive TV deal.

If rockets would grace us with his presence, I'd like to know how he thinks them losing their main TE will effect them this season, since my understanding is the depth chart is 2 incoming freshman and a walk on

first of all, fauria isnt are main TE, it is rudolph.

secondly, i agree that this is a huge blow especially since weis likes to use multiple TE sets.

hopefully somebody will step up and be serviceable at the #2TE, although i am assuming weis will now use his 2-TE packages almost exclusively for short yardage (blocking)

Who's even in that region? Maybe East Carolina, Memphis, Marshall? Still need someone else.

Toledo, Miami-OH, or Central Florida would be good candidates, UCF might have the hardest time because the Big Least already has a presence in the Tampa area so they wouldn't add anything TV-wise.

I was thinking Marshall might be good as a rival for WVU, but they do have Pitt

I guess the Big East's only chance would be to raid CUSA, but they'd want decent basketball schools to join
