Williams seems like a headache waiting to happen. One of the most overrated college players in the last several years.

The NFL consensus is that Williams is the number 1 ranked player in this draft. I think they know a lot more than you do.

Caleb extends plays looking to throw when chased out of the pocket, Jayden takes off running. History shows the former is a better indicator of NFL success because it shows Caleb processing the coverage, he knows where the receiver is going (or to wait for the receiver to alter his route to get open), and he isn't just relying on being more athletic than most of the other players on the field .

So Caleb is Aaron Rodgers?

And Jayden is Josh Allen?

JD also has a likely top 5 NFL draft pick WR to throw too and another dude shooting up draft boards as a first round WR. He had a better situation and it’s not even comparable.

This is absolutely Jayden's worst attribute.

Jayden’s arm strength is not a problem. At all.

Jd is a statue at times

What?!?!?!

If there is one legit criticism of Daniel’s it’s that he relies on his legs too much and doesn’t stay in the pocket long enough if he feels pressure.

He’s is the exact opposite of a statue in the pocket.

Scouts also have a tendency to fall in love with a players physical talents but ignore other things that are major red flags.

Williams has a lot of Ryan Leaf in him.

Williams can make plays off platform, change arm angles, and can drive the ball slightly better than Daniels, But I am not sure he has what it takes between the ears. I think he’s been famous too long, let it get to his head. He’s not exactly iron-clad from a leadership standpoint in my opinion either. He’ll have a tough time stepping into an NFL locker room and commanding grown men. But if I’m wrong, his talent is great enough to win a Super Bowl.

With Daniels, you get close to the same arm talent with slightly less creativity/improv. You do however get a guy who can move the chains with his feet when things break down and a red-zone run threat..simply put, he has to get out of bounds and slide in the NFL or he won’t last. From a leadership standpoint, I think Daniel’s is a more likeable guy who teammates will gravitate to.

This board does this every single year. They always shite on a player that goes top 5. They say he's overrated and overhyped. Blah, blah, blah.

Exhibit A: You. You’re doing it right now when you say Daniels (a potential top 5 pick) can’t play quarterback.

Almost every scouting report you see says he has the ability to make all the throws.

These were the first two links if searched on bing using "Jayden Daniels arm strength"

Bleacher Report
Daniels' arm strength and accuracy are less dangerous to other parts of the field. He doesn't always have the velocity to fit tight windows, and his accuracy in the 1-20 yard range comes and goes.

Prime Time Sports
Jayden Daniels’ main weakness is his arm strength.

You do not have to have a cannon to be good in the NFL (Drew Brees and Payton Manning didn't), but I will stand by the statement that arm strength or impressiveness is his worst attribute.

Less impressive relative to his 4.4 40 yard dash, noted

Correct, worst is a relative term. It does not mean bad.
I do believe he has an adequate arm. But I would not call it impressive. His speed is quite impressive. I hope he becomes an amazing QB in the NFL but has poor showings against the Saints.

I don't think Daniels has elite arm strength, but I do wonder if it is better or worse than compared to Joe Burrow. Burrow wasn't regarded as having elite arm strength coming into the draft, and isn't regarded as having elite arm strength now, but to me they look to have similar velocities.
