I think it's all-world crazy person Charles Haley:
2 niners superbowls (Montana era)
3 cowboys superbowls
1 more season w/ the niners after the Cowboys.

In baseball, i think it might be Yogi (long career, 2 yankee eras, hugely talented teams).

It's either Derek Jeter or Mariano Rivera. Whichever one you consider to be worse than the other wins because you can include the other guy

eta: maybe Jorge Posada

Another option is to go with the multi-sport athlete. Primetime, Bo, and Thorpe could all be choices just cause the player pool was so much bigger being in multiple sports.

Yeah, I already made that case and the answer is deion IMO

Not only did he play two sports but he also jumped between several talented laden teams in both sports.

He was on both the 90s 49ers and 90s cowboys teams and the 00s ravens (plus eric dickerson and brett favre were on the falcons when he started there)

He was on the Yankees with Don Mattingly and Dave Winfield before jumping to the Braves teams with Justice, Gant, Pendleton, all the pitchers (Smoltz, Glavine, Maddux, Avery, Liebrant), and staying long enough to be on the Braves teams with Chipper Jones, Klesko, McGriff, etc before jumping to the Reds with Larkin, Kevin Mitchell, Browning, Rijo, Santiago, Wells, Griffey, Dunn.

Just read through the thread and I agree with your answer. Team jumping in multiple leagues is the way to win this question.

Does early Favre count though?

I feel like this should be clarified.

I count 7 hall of famers that Yogi Berra played with on those Yankees teams.

i got pissed reading this thread and hearing at least 3498539 different people naming someone and saying "and it's not close"

with that said, it's obviously deion sanders.

There's a strong argument for Prime Time.

Limiting it to one sport the correct answer is Chris Chelios.
