Ahh...thought he meant UF. It's still early and I haven't had my coffee.

Oklahoma and Ohio State have both been really good but seem to choke in big games.

This perception cracks me up.

Yes, Ohio State was 0-2 in 2007 and 2008 BCSNCG. They are 6-1 in the other 7 BCS Bowls they've played in. But keep thinking that they always choke in those big games.

One good season and you say TAMU is rising. Next year they could be hit with injuries and go 9-3.

Seriously?

9-4
8-5
10-2
7-5

16 losses in 4 years with a dipshit that can't coach his way out of a paper bag and you call them a 5 best program right now?

Could stay perfectly healthy and still lose 3 games having to play LSU, Alabama, and Florida

Any list that doesn't include Ohio St is retarded.

If you're talking about A&M, they don't play UF next season. We got Arky instead.

LSU, Oregon, Florida don't belong in the top 5 historically

Everyone agrees LSU is a top 5 program - maybe rantards should see this and stop whining about Miles like idiots.

And I think the question is top 5 now, not historically.

History is what makes great programs. Otherwise just list the current top 5 in the BCS standings...

It doesn't say historically. My list goes LSU, Oregan, Bama, Ohio State and Oklahoma

Exactly. We all have a different view on what "right now" is. I'm looking at the last 5-10 years to gauge "right now". A one year wonder isn't getting in my list (i.e. Texas A&M)

This seems reasonable although I'd put Florida in over Oregon. Oregon is 3-6 in their last 9 bowl games and two of those wins are in the Sun Bowl and Holiday Bowl. Florida has 2 BCSNC trophies in the same time frame.

I guess my only question is where do people see Stanford? They have 3 top 10 finishes in a row going now if they win their bowl game. They seem to be one of the more consistent teams RIGHT now

That's a good question. I think Stanford gets discounted by a lot of people because of the historical perspective of them.

Top 5 is a tough one to come up with. Top 10 is probably a list more people could agree with overall.

Need to ask this question to fans not from the south to see what kind of answers you get.
