NBC picks up the broadcasting this week....and has it until the Masters I believe.
Will be interesting to see how they do with their coverage.
Play got a little slow on the course yesterday - used my PGATourLive app and was able to catch some pro golf. I am developing a love / hate relationship with that ap.

Spieth is going to tear Oakmont a new one
Or Bubba might lap the field after they removed so many trees. Especially on the right side of the fairways. He'll be gripping and ripping all week.

In 2007 it played as a 7,230 yard par 70. Pretty tough.

Spieth magic conquers all
280 yard par 3s don't play around, though.

Got my eye on Branden Grace, Ryan Palmer and Shane Lowry. Got research to do tomorrow before the matchups get posted though.

I like Grace a lot. Seems like he lives in the top 25.
Been really pulling for him ever since.....

Horses for the course are Knox and Donald.

Paul Casey has had a nice time as well. I think Berger is getting way too much attention this week.

Taking Kisner this week

Kisner is a great East Coast performer. McNeill is another steady, under the radar performer here.

I think you're right.

The interesting thing to me will be how Feherty interacts with Miller.
As for the tournament itself, the Florida swing doesn't excite me all that much. The fields are always good but the courses don't do much for me.

He prefers a right to left ball flight and the winds blowing from the Atlantic help his ball flight. Meanwhile on the West Coast, the cool winds blow left to right and Kisner struggles hitting into those trade winds.
Just a guess.

Some players love this type of grass, others not so much. Europeans tend to adapt to this course as well. Usually pretty windy.

Three plays this week ~
Reed +110 ov Matsuyama
Reed has a great history on Bermuda and is in really good form. Finished 7th here last year, 2nd after 54 holes. Matsuyama WD from this event in 2014 (his only experience here) and has high apex ball flight. The compact Reed is better at playing in anticipated windy conditions.
Casey -110 ov Garcia
Garcia looked at times uncomfortable with some big misses both ways at Riviera, seems to be working into form. I missed with Casey ov Scott last week but will give him another shot this week. Casey finished 12th in 2014 and 3rd last year at the Honda Classic.
Palmer -125 ov Walker
Ryan Palmer has finished 25th and 2nd in his last two Honda Classic starts and is not shy about his affinity for the course saying it really fits his eye. Jimmy Walker has struggled making the transition from West to East coast historically and after mediocre finishes in 2010-2012, cut the Honda Classic from his schedule the last three years.
Leggo!
