I use my hunting one but it's only good inside 200 for picking up a flag, and it's not that good at that. It will be one of my next golf buys

I'm fine when I play MSU, because I know the course.
I just need it for when I play other courses. Though I'm pretty good at guessing yardages.

You can be as good as you want at guessing. You have to believe and commit the shot to that guess though.

Nah. I'm confident in my guessing at MSU. Whenever we compare with my friends rangefinder, I'm within five yards.
They just released an app that has a pretty good GPS as well.
Now, when I'm at Waverly, or The Links, I'm mostly lost.

That's what I mean. Guessing everywhere else.

But I still like the confirmation. Just one less variable to the equation.

That's why I'm trying to get one before the LA trip. I don't venture away from MSU much right now, so it's no rush.
