DJ can slam when he wants to, but Bubba seems to be more accurate, and his ball travels about 400 yards when you factor in the curve

Was about to say, DJ hits it straight as hell, maybe a hair of a cut, Bubba on the other hand can't hit it without moving it 10-15 either way.....

Alvaro Quiros can get a hold of it on the Euro Tour.

There's definitely a few that can keep up with him, until he decides to step on one
I remember the US Open at Oakmont a few years ago where Tiger and Cabrera both hit one over 400 on one of the holes. They got 70 yards of roll but it was impressive

How about ol' Charl moving one 450 last year at the Open Championship?
Those fairways were so fast though.
How about this guy? LINK 787 yard drive.

quote:
Everyone on site agreed it was a minimum of 750 yards from the No. 3 tee box; some thought it was more than 800. The figure of 787 yards is the one most cited because that's the yardage that was determined by Cooper's caddie.
Where the ball was sitting, Cooper had around 300 yards just to get back to the correct green. He hit a 4-iron, then an 8-iron, then a chip shot to get back to the No. 3 green. He wound up with a double bogey.

I forgot about Charl. I remember when they were at St Andrews in 2000 or 2001 where a reporter hit a putt like 90 yards on the fairway

I remember that one live.

I think the longest official drive was Mike Austin. 500 something yards

Watching replay, 460 par 4 and Bubba hits an iron and PW deep into green, not fair

Must be a bitch to try to club him.
ETA: How about no

I remember Ted from when he drove a clunker Ford Festiva hatchback and didn't have 5 bucks in his checking account, they have come along way, hard to hate on them.

Bubba acts like a d-bag on the course, but other than that he seems like a good guy
Posted on 2/20/14 at 9:39 pm to Thib-a-doe Tiger
Yeah, not paying that much for St. Andrews.
Posted on 2/20/14 at 9:41 pm to Thib-a-doe Tiger
He is a D-Bag, Ted on the other hand is good people.

You just gonna keep walking in my swing? All damn day.

Where did Bubba touch you?
I think more people would like him if he unbuttoned the top button

My favorite thing to see is when they make someone quit moving behind the green when they're 120 yards out.
