I was gonna try to sneak out today and play. But the higher ups scheduled fricking meetings for us all damn day My arms are dead from the workout this morning anyway so it would probably be a good idea to wait until the weekend anyway

Tibbothy is playing Sunday. His tolerance for pain and weakness is unreal. If I was that weak I'd fly to Mexico, buy steroids, do them all, fly straight back to the range at La Tour, and beat balls like I was on the sofa with a tube of AstroGlide.

Thanks, man. I'm excited.

Decided I'm gonna head up towards Nashville and hit The Course at Sewanee. LINK

Our old neighbor moved to sewanee after Katrina and bought a house on the campus. He rents the property for $1/yr and works as an accountant for the college.

That place is awesome. I've never seen the course, but I'm sure it's awesome.

I guess he headed for high ground after Katrina.

Man, Sewanee is beautiful. They have a prep school up there and we wrestled a few tournaments and matches up there. Awesome campus and school. It's up on a mountain top, but the interstate runs right up past it.

The old 9 hole course was completely redesigned when a bunch of wealthy alumni were having a casual chat in Butler Cabin (yeah, that Butler Cabin) about the state of the course after playing golf at Augusta. One of them stood up and pledged a million dollars and they were off to the races. Gil Hanse finished the redesign in 2012. LINK

I appreciate zee dusting tips on stats but I will be keeping my own stats...

1. Shellshocked looks on your playing partners faces after dropping an Uber bomb on them.

2. Number of drives per round that you can't see land because of so deep.

3. Number of times your partners brag to everyone in the clubhouse bar about how far you hit a drive...they have never seen one that deep.

4...number of cig flicks after a daisy cutter 4 iron that out drives your buddies driver

Probably around then or noon. Normally we get a 12-12:30 tee time since they put those GN deals before then. NC and I joined there last year when they ran the special deal membership deal.

You and NC vs NitroBandit
Best ball wins the skin, and a total score for both players tally at the end.

They got ribeye poboys there?

Nah, I always hit Canes for a sweet tea when I leave though.

BTW, they cut some of the old trees down on a few holes this week. Hope they get to that damned tree on 10 blocking the approach from the left side of the fairway.

The big one on the right is gone. 2 were down on the left yesterday. That one on 10 makes that hole a par 5. They need to cut that bitch down.

I may be well behind the news on this one, but it seems Dufner has dropped about 20lbs and chopped off all that goofy lettuce.
