Things Thibby believes:
-Wind doesn't exist on courses except at LaTour
-It's 70 degrees anywhere besides SoLa
-Crawfish are impossible to boil outside of LA

They are both posted as tournament scores. And neither were in the 90's for handicapping purposes.

That's why I said nice about lowering after your handicap BR Open. I'm not familiar with tournament scores effect on handicap. Forgot about ESC too.

Well he is correct on the last one.

I can show him a course in central Texas where the wind blows....played Friday in 30 mph gust there.

I had an 11 on day 1 and a 12 on day 2.

Posted tournament scores of 85 and 89. I also had a 78 and an 81 that posted as well.

Never understood this, but if I shoot 100 and made a 16 on a par 3 I enter 100, not 87 or 88.

That's not really taking an accurate snapshot of your potential, either. Which is the purpose of a handicap.

Sandbagger.

And you'd enter a 91 most likely. You don't take par. Depends on your handicap. Highest number on a hole I can turn in is a 7. Higher the handicap. Higher the allowable number to turn in.

Handicap is about your playing potential.

My days of potential are over with, I'm gonna invent a beer handicap and use it, my drinking potential is the only thing that keeps getting better.
