Actually I've only got 13 clubs, so if you want to hit a 60 you're fricked. I won't hit anything higher than 8 in those booths because My natural high launch and flight combined with my tendency to scoop means it isn't hard for me to fly the screen

As long as you're not hitting 8-balls you're good

I've got MLS listings of C-1's in n.o.
Of those, two I can afford that would be cool when I gut and remodel.

Top Golf is a good time. Kind of like playing Tiger Woods on the Xbox on the driving range thing they have on there. I try to go every time I'm around Dallas or Houston for work and I don't have time to get a round in somewhere. I'd rather play at an actual course but if you have some people with you who have never played its much better to take them there than have them hack it up on the course

Sportsbar with several of these machines would be pretty awesome, maybe throw in a few bowling lanes.

My uncle owned a bowling alley on Jefferson, in Metairie he ran an illegal casino out of during the 30's and 40's. Right around where Ochsner hospital is.

They are expensive. It's what I originally wanted to do. This has lower startup.

The mats at capital golf were actually pretty easy to hit off of. My cousin who is a hacker stepped right up and had no problem. They were about 1/2 - 3/4 inch elevated where you put the ball.

I think that's the issue for most people. They're easier to hit off of than turf. It can mess up your swing if you use it all the time.

Just try to take a divot out of the mat. They don't bother me very much, although last time I went I was picking the ball which I never do. And In case you missed it, I implied that your uncle's shady casino meant you were a descendant of the Marcello family, which I thought was clever

Nah, not Marcellos.

I'm gonna hit tomorrow around lunch, if it doesn't rain.

It'd be even better if it was overcast.

I didn't get a chance to play in Destin. Anyone recommend courses in the Disney/Orlando area?

One of my wife's family members may or may not have been tight with Huey P, who was "allegedly" tight with Carlos. I have heard some entertaining stories/accusations.

Better hope they don't have a waterspout at LaTour like they had in GI today. I used to see them regularly when fishing, but that b was huuuuuge
