No the machine was the thing swinging the club. Like the one on that rory commercial. A scientist tested a few launch monitors out. He figured out what the spin would be with a pen and paper.

No idea although I believe about golf has bad launch monitors. I'm sure it's in the ballpark range. All I can tell you is that it isn't Nitro

I was I'm just talking about how inaccurate launch monitors can be. For him I know he's a pretty good player from reading these threads. Anything below 1.4 smash for someone his level sounds off to me.

Craft Farms has two courses, don't really remember one from the other. Peninsula has 27 holes IIRC so they'll probably just send you out on whatever two 9's they determine that morning.
