Just fired a personal best 84.
+1 through 7. Then had two nice water shots after my self jinx. But got up and down for a long double bogey putt. Went bogey bogey to finish. Left one putt on the edge and lipped out for par on 9.
Two 3 putts for bogeys on the back. Doubled 12 which is my hardest hole. Missed two 7 footers for par on 17 & 18.
Very pleased with my round even though I left about 4-5 strokes out there. Didn't have a triple or worse. Struck the ball well. My short game was very nice from 50 in. But chipping from around the green was poor which is unusual.
Overall. Good day.

Yep. I shoot for the stars. According to FIL I have turned plenty of 80-84's into 92's. I have never had that one round where I get off to a fast start and then maintain it. If I can somehow get through #6 there at 3 over or better I have a decent shot. Now if we play from the blacks, I would be happy keeping it in double digits
ETA: For example, a few weeks ago we played at Sugarland. I shot 95 with a 10 on a par 4 and 3 triples.

New one. I am rolling it great. A few ones where I leave it short for fear of hitting too hard. Few more rounds I should have it dialed in 100%.
