8.50 off the front... working on shortening my backswing and starting my downswing by clearing my hips. So far so good... my miss right now is a straight shot slightly right of the target.

My backswing is too long, but even what feels like a half swing is parallel (you know this) and I think I'm allowing it by letting my left arm breakdown ever so slightly. I'm going to work on keeping my elbow straight the whole way back and that should help shorten the swing a bit. We'll see...

Hand is not as bad as I thought. Fracture near my pinky but have a lot of movement and little pain. Probably be out of commission for about a week.

Anyone have tips on a match play tournament? Playing in our city match play a little over a month from now and have never played that tournament format. Been told to give them short ones early in the round and progressively make them putt out.
