If I go get fitted by Leitz or Noel, how long until I have my club? Will they do it the same day or will I have to go back to get it? Anyone know what Leitz charges and what brand of clubs he pushes?

He won't it you right away. He believes that most problems with a club can be fixed by correcting a problem in the swing, and then fit from there...
"50 minutes of intense teaching followed by 10 minutes of furious fitting."
It will give you a more accurate fitting that way.

I was thinking more along the lines of
1. set up fitting
2. get fitted
3. ??????
4. Profit
I don't practice enough to make swing changes, I want what is best for what I got. Maybe I should just go to EW or DSG and hope for the best

His method just tries to save you money. It's not total swing changes, all he may have to do is just a minor tweak.
For instance, how much torque in a driver shaft or what kind of flighted iron shaft are you going to need? If you are mishitting the ball on one part of the club face, that answer will be different than you hitting it on another. Likewise, if you are hitting the ball low for a minor reason, and he tweaks something to give you a medium trajectory with what your swing produces, you wouldn't want to have gotten higher launch shafts and then make that change to where you are now hitting it high...

Yeah but probably still too much over my head. All I know is I have a 10.5 degree driver, stiff flex, hit the ball in the middle of the clubface fairly often, and the ball goes really high and never goes anywhere. Basically I think if I can get my ball flight down thru fitting I will get better results, maybe not optimal, but better
ETA: My BIL went to Noel and told him just to fit it to his current swing as best he could because he doesn't practice much either. He has a better swing than I do, but the results were ridiculous.

My freaking shaft broke right off at the head on my driver. Gotta message the guy I bought it from. Back to 3w. Ugh.

He will tell you to tee it up higher, and get results based on hitting it in the correct spot (hitting it in the middle of the club fact will produce 0 spin, while hitting it middle-high will produce negative spin). The excess spin is what is causing your ball to go high and not go anywhere.
It's stuff like that he points out to correctly fit you. If its too much, go to EW. All depends on what you are trying to get out if it

It broke while I was walking in the fairway. Not even while swinging.

I haven't been able to play much recently, work has been picking up and stuff. I knew my swing was going to be off so I went to the driving range a couple of times this week and only brought a PW, 8 iron, and 6 iron.
I think I may have had a ball striking epiphany, does this sound legit or just luck??
I noticed that when I start my backswing, I am focused on the ball with my right eye, but by the time I finish it I am using my left eye. So I stopped my backswing where the transition happened to see if it worked. Well if I focus on keeping my right eye on it the whole time, I am making much better and consistent contact.
I think it is helping me keep my head from moving so much, and keeping me from taking my club back too far, seem legit?

It sounds like you aren't moving your head as much...

Is it weird that I never really see the impact of the club to the ball? I've got tons of videos and my head is down, I guess I'm closing my eyes?

I would imagine that's less than ideal...

Because you don't have super human eyes.
No one can see their club impact the ball.

I've tried that, teeing it lower, moving it up in stance, moving it back in stance, etc. This is 100% a club problem and nothing to do with me
I did consider that maybe the driver lost some pop, but it seems unlikely. I used to hit it pretty well, now I can fly my driver with my 3w

I always tell myself not to do this. The dude from "The Golf Fix" is always saying don't let your chest lift up through impact.
What's up with his dead tooth? Get that shite fixed.

So mad about my driver. Though I hit my 3w great after it broke. Just 39 yards shorter.
Shot a 94. Had a four putt and two or three 3 putts which is incredibly frustrating. I go fairway green and for putt #1 for an opening double. Tied my buddy strokes wise. Best him by one on match play and made 8 bucks off him on side bets.
