I could see that with Callaway. I was fitted for 8.5 Open which would make it 7.5 and I didn't see my drives lower when switching from 9.5.

Well the reason I asked is I have a G5 with a prolaunch blue stiff shaft, and this weekend I consistently made contact at or near the center of the clubface, and as usual, I hit high majestic drives that don't go anywhere. The club is stamped 10.5, but I find I can hit my 13 degree 3w as far or farther off the tee, with a mid-high flight.

ETA: It's obvious that swing flaws play some part in this, but I am blaming the club

Shaft might be the problem but the actual loft of that club is likely greater then 11.

83 at Queen's Harbor from the tips. Left a few shots out there bc the range was closed, I had never played the course (no yardage books either) and those DAMN SAND FLIES!

Son of a...........

I am an equipment novice and will be getting fitted for a driver somewhere in the near future. I used to hit that driver a respectable to sometimes long distance, but I guess my swing changed enough in the 6 years since I bought it to where it is now a detriment.

Where can I go in Baton rouge to see my hands on video at impact? I want to know how far ahead of the ball I have them to see if I'm delofting or scooping at impact. This is huge and I need to see what I'm doing.

I'm checkin' out tee times at LaTour this week. Might be pretty wet Wed.-Friday.

You said they're punching them today?

Go to Burky at The Oaks. He's all setup to sort through your problems.

Supposed to be. They should play ok by then. BJ (the head pro) said they were rolling at 11-12 when I played there Saturday. If you looked at the ball hard enough you could get it moving.

Anyone ever hear that Ping drivers have more loft than what is stamped on the club?

Never heard that. I have a G20 I've been using for a year, maybe that's why I don't hit it the tigerdroppings average distance.

From what I've heard that number is bumped up several hundred yards by Ryno

I don't know how long it takes the greens to get back to normal, but when those greens are in their full glory they are really something

Find someone with a go pro 3. Or be like me and buy a cheap camera off ebay and a tripod.

This was the headcover for the Cameron Collector event. Not the biggest fan of it.
