4-0 tonight
1Q -7 OSU
Point spread OSU -28.5
1H -1.5 Purdue
Moneyline Purdue -170

What's the wise thing to do with my winnings? Wait until next week?

If you're a baseball player and you go 4/4 batting. Would you want to play the next game or wait next week.

Not sure people get on the defensive when rolling but bet every game when they're stuck.

Comparing batting in baseball, an outcome you can control, to betting on college football spreads, is quite possibly the worst analogy I have ever heard.

You would have been better off saying if you won 4 straight red spins on a roulette table, would you take your winnings and bet odd numbers or walk away.

There is a big difference between getting defensive and betting intelligibly. Just cause you won tonight, doesn't mean you bet more games than you were going to tomorrow.

But you can have some control in sports betting. You can control which team to take. You are not picking teams out of a hat. If you think a team can cover at 54% of the time, you should bet them.

If you're a regular bettor, you may get a few good streaks a year. Now, what let's say you go 4-0 and you throw in a couple of bets saturdat morning that you think have a good chance at covering. You lose them? No big deal...you can throw ib the towel for the week. On the opposite side, let's say you don't bet and the 2 teams you like cover, now you're in regret mode and self doubt. And when you self doubt yourself, it's when you bleed money because your 1st instinct is usually the most accurate.

You ever see an NBA player in a hot streak hitting baskets after baskets? It's about confidence, instinct, and psychology. The brain works at a high level and everything seems easy than usual.

I will preface this by saying I lost my arse in 2015 and covered 2016 by about $40 in the national championship. My bets are based off very minimal personal research and personal thoughts on statistics. I'm far from an expert or anything remotely close.

But, who is to say if he does do what you are saying on Saturday and loses that he doesn't have the same regret and self doubt that you are mentioning in the adverse scenario? You pretty much told that guy, hey you're 4-0 tonight at the roulette table, you should keep it rolling because your gut tells you to. Just pick odds vs evens now that you are on a hot streak, your gut can't fail you. That same guy usually walks away from the table with his dick in his hand.

I get it, baseball and football and basketball and everything else are all statistics too, but at least you as a player can control those statistics. As a gambler, you don't. If you're 4-0 and see 3 games you like tomorrow, jump on them. If you're 4-0 and see nothing but want action, well, that's a sure fire way to lose money.

Trust me, I've done it.

Largest bet of the year so far on Michigan -20 1h. Home opener and Michigan has rolled in these spots under Harbaugh.

If Michigan and K State cover first half I'm entering the Supercontest.

Almost seems too good to be true. LaTech generally plays P5s well but has a lot of new pieces on offense and defense.
