Walked 9 on the Members Course at the Golf Club of Houston (Redstone). Amazing shape for being the "second" course out there.

It's a great course, played it before they changed the name, buddy is playing TPC San Antonio right now and said it's brutal, hit a 4 iron into a 158 par 3 yesterday bc of wind

17 at Sawgrass is still my favorite, it's not long but it is somewhat intimidating. Parred the bitch!

Never played it, soon though, debating what courses to play in Destin this year. Guys only golf trip is in end of August/ first of September this year, Ballyneal is on the list along with Harbor Shores, gotta find one more.

My professor is handling teaching my labs today. Gotta go do some work out at the farm, but might hit 9 if it isn't too windy. Course is probably still pretty wet, but not sure I'll get to play this weekend.

im looking forward to walking some more rounds in the near future
i walked 18 on friday for the first time in years
i got a nice blister on my back heel because my socks were too short, but other than that, i enjoyed the heck out of it
it gives you plenty of time to think about the shot you just hit as well as the one you are approaching, not to mention the added exercise
my home course doesnt let walkers out until after 2, which kind of sucks, but I'll try to walk whenever i can

I love walking. If I play at home, I probably will walk.
I like walking 9 at MSU, but man the walk from 9 to 10 and 18 to the clubhouse is brutal.

I can second this. And walking on 7 because it's always so damn wet

Yeah. It's not bad besides those. Tee boxes are pretty close.

I used to like walking LSU in the morning with the pony tail guy. He was a fast player.
Also, walking helps out course management for the next round as opposed to sailin by every part of the course in a cart and getting tunnel vision for the next shot.

Hard to beat island greens. RTJ courses always seem to have one. I played one at the Judge back in the day.

Also gives ya time to catch up with the baws and see how life's treatin'em baws.

The view from 9's tee is pretty sweet too.
