Speaking of flex's, I need to pick one of these:

Engram vs ARI
Cooley vs DAL
Holt vs SF
Mark Bradley vs NO

My gut is telling me to go with Engram. Even though he's been sucking for the past few weeks. He's getting Hasselbeck back plus I have a feeling they'll be down a bit and will have to throw to get back in it. Thoughts anyone?

I am in the same boat with Engram in one league. I am starting him in hopes that this will be "the week" for him (especially vs AZ) FWIW.

Since Steven Jackson is missing yet another week, who should I start in his place? I've got Marshawn Lynch starting and then have to decide b/w the following:

Steve Slaton (decreased touches last week)
Ricky Williams (splits carries, but has looked good lately)
Jonathan Stewart (not really leaning this way)

Any suggestions?

For me it would be between Slaton & Williams. I would probably go with Slaton based on what Kubiak said this week, but damn that is a tough one. Good luck

I have 3 questions:
1. (Pick 1)
M. Moore vs SD
J. Addai vs Houston
A. Pittman @ SF

2.
B. Engram vs AZ or
L. Moore @ KC

3. (Pick one for flex)
R. Williams vs Oak
T.J. Houshmandzadeh vs Philly
R. Bush @ KC (any new news?)
M. Moore vs SD (any new news on Parker)
T. Bell @ Atl

Thanks guys

Only b/c I'm not sold on Pittman.

You really can't go wrong w/ either one I don't think

Decent flex options. Ricky would my 2nd choice unless Bush returns. I think Parker's back so Moore wouldn't be an option. I doubt Bell gets significant carries in his first week. Just my 2 cents.

pretty much along the same lines as I was thinking. I just have a strange feeling that Pittman may do something good. No idea why

Thanks man

LT against tought Pitt D or Lendale White against weak Jax D?
This was a difficult question for me. Normally, I'd never start White over LT, but I see this Sunday as a tough game for the ex-horned frog. So as I was looking around for info. on White's match up, I ran across this:
quote:

White ran the ball 15 times for just 40 yards and one touchdown against Jacksonville in Week 1 this year. He has never carried a huge workload in previous years against them, averaging 25.8 yards per game but only receiving 8.3 carries per game for four outings.
Doesn't bode well for the former Trojan. But, then again, I don't usually put much stock in past results as an indicator of future performance. Week 1 was a long time ago.

There may be other factors that might make a more significant difference. First, the Chargers have been slow starting and have stumbled (for reasons I fail to understand). I see the Steelers taking advantage of an underachieving SD run game. Look for more throwing by Rivers and less running by LT.

Second, I don't see Jacksonville having enough offense to pull away from the Titans early (or late for that matter). The Titans will run the ball as long as they're not behind by too much. Other than the Detroit game, Jacksonville hasn't been able to stay on the field either. Time of possession will help White, too.

Hope this helps.

This is my leagues last week until playoffs. I am curently in third place and I play the second place guy this week. If I win I finish second and possibly first. Here is my lineup. Tell me what you think.
QB Mcnabb
RB Michael Turner
RB Peterson (minnesota)
WR Antonio Bryant
WR Issac Bruce
WR Colston
WR Braylon Edwards
K Scobee
DP

Bench
Eli Manning
Flacco
Jonathan Stewart
John Carlson
Meachem
Ray Rice

What do you think?

You can't really go wrong with either of these picks. Normally, I'd say start anyone against the Lions. Look how good the Lions made the Jags look only one week after the Jags lost to a previously winless Bengals team. But Thigpen against a soft Saints D could be a pretty good match up, too. Thigpen has been on fire these past few weeks. What a delimma.

Think about it this way. Who of the Lions and Saints is most likely to pull ahead of the opponent by such a margin that the QB will have to throw the ball? If you say Lions, you need disban your fantasy team immediately.

Cooooley. With Portis out likely, Cooley will be Campbell's safety net. He should get a TD and around 70 yards vs Dallas.

Looks like you need to add Cromartie to your line up. Besides that, I like it. Now, let's all collectively cheer for Colston. He's starting for the Lakers this week. He needs to have a big game!

Okay the trade deadline is next week and i feel as though i need to make a move to stay on top.

I've got:
B west
Portis
Calvin johnson
b marshall

I'm looking to deal calvin and marshall for frank gore and t.o.

Then i would turn around and trade portis and ladell betts for steve smith and ronnie brown (possible somebody else).

This would now give me:
B west
gore
brown(?)
to
ssmith

I do this because I am not on calvin johnson's bandwagon anymore. I've been getting lucky the past few weeks with him, put with daunte in the backfield now i don't see his td streak to last too much longer. I feel as though this is the only way to get rid of him without my team losing a step.

Thoughts?

I know that Hasselbeck is back this week, but I wouldn't expect too much in his first week back.

I also saw a ranking on KFFL that was really touting Moore this week. Not sure why. (And I'm hoping that Colston gets all the catches for the Saints), but that makes this decision a little easier I think.

This is what I just saw:
quote:

Bush will not play in Week 11

Larry Holder, of the Biloxi Sun-Herald, reports New Orleans Saints RB Reggie Bush (knee) did not participate in practice Friday, Nov. 14. He has been ruled out of the team's Week 11 game.

S. Jackson ruled out for Week 11

ESPNews reports St. Louis Rams RB Steven Jackson (thigh) has been ruled out for the team's Week 11 game.
I kind of like Williams in the flex, although TJ should be a pretty good option, too. You just never really know what the Bengals are going to do in a given week.

This is odd for me to consider as I've never been in a league where teams traded that much. In most leagues, trading is a rare thing. For that much trading to occur is really weird.

Assuming the trades end up like you want, you would only have one WR. Is there something I'm missing?
