Speaking of, I have a story from yesterday:
Like every I have, my bad shots all tend to happen on one hole. So I kill a drive on 5 at the Island yesterday, have 60 yds in. I take out my 56, and standing over the ball, I think "man I feel like I'm going to chunk this". Mid way through the swing, I'm like "yea I'm chunking this". What proceeds to happen?
I chunk it.
It wasn't a chili dip, but the ball only went 40 yds.
What makes this a special story is that before the ball made impact with the ground after its short flight, I had proceeded to helicopter my wedge at the ball, narrowly missing it. The club proceeds to go 10 yds past the ball, and LAND BEFORE THE BALL DOES.
We were impressed.

That would have been one hell of a penalty stroke.

I double hit a chip out of some muddy shite by a tree on #14 on my first round Friday. I missed the green on that par 3 by 3 yards and ended up making 5 because I TC Chen'd it.

that is impressive length, but I would expect a PRO to be able to Smash like that. I don't hate on anyone who smashes with regularity...you on the other hand need lose that Regular flex junk and start smashing with the authority of a thousand wild Gorillas

One of the asst. pros swears he was gonna throw his 910 driver in the trash after last round. I was about to snag it from him. Maybe next time he'll continue being pissed and give it to me.

The two times I used it when k wasnt in a bunker yesterday I had my only two bogies...it has affirmed the fact that that I only use it out of the sand (I was 3/3 for sand saves with it yesterday)
