Jimmy Ott needs his own show again, preferably during the 3-6 slot.

Maybe on some obscure AM station or something. He's fricking awful. Nothing but menu reading, talking with food in his mouth, hearing about his local tennis club matches and him pretty much running his bookie service on air. He drags the midday show down sooooo freaking much. The lock of the week shite turns fall Fridays into a complete shite fest.

What, you don't like hearing what some guy who rides on the back of a garbage truck thinks about the Kansas-Texas Tech game?

I wanted it in NOLA because I live here but as a football fan I always hate when teams are awarded SBs only 5 years apart (Miami did this recently). I like variety. Outside of LA, no one gives a crap about the 300th anniversary. Also, if you hate it so much listen to podcasts like I do.

I wish hunt or Jordy would come on at a more desirable time.. I like listening about local sports but jimmy and Mascona are both hard for me to listen to.

There's nothing to do there besides go to a mall. Also, transportation will be a bitch because of said weather conditions.

Baton Rouge has never had a good sports show guy. But I will say, that Condon was the best. His Jaguar Report was always hilarious, and at least he was interesting.

Moscona is just a douche.
Ott went too full retard ie sponsorships

Yeah, because a high percentage of people actually go to the SB. Not a big deal to me. The SB is a TV event mainly.

If your team is in the SB and you want to go badly enough, it won't matter which city is the host.

I guarantee you he has never been there. Minneapolis offers great bus and light rail services throughout the city that is extremely quick and efficient.

Minneapolis also is in the middle of a booming restaurant and craft beer renaissance. Branch out from the typical Baton Rouge security blanket (Miller Lite and Pluckers wings) and you may find something that you like, Matt.

Minneapolis also offers some really good museums and theaters. Check out The Orpheum or The Guthrie. Oh yeah, First Avenue is also regarded as one of the best music venues in the US.

I feel for Matt and know that he and his wife are going through some tough personal issues. I wish him all the best.

He does need to learn to reel it in sometimes because his rants are just too ridiculous, and he rambles on & on incessantly at times, like Condon... Glad I have the option to switch back & forth between him and Lebatard.

Matt has potential, he just needs to tone it down and forget everything he ever learned from Condon.

And the year of the New Orleans Tricentennial was THE ONLY YEAR they could get the Super Bowl. There was no way possible that they could have gotten it in 2019, right? Heaven forbid they had to wait a year. Indianapolis had to wait an extra year when the NFL promised them a Super Bowl but Jerry Jones decided to skip ahead of everyone.

By far the best sports-radio show

Does he look like a genie, Zangief from street fighter, sorcerer, or a GTA character?

I stopped listening to that hack a few months ago. I tuned in daily, since I work in a plant and radio is the only entertainment I can get, but he got way too douchey. He takes this high and mighty approach, then talks down on everyone, all while having no athletic background other than cleat chasing. The only time I enjoyed him was when Theriot was on because he seemed to humble Moscona. He doesnt really offer anything that isnt covered by Hanny and crew, so as soon as SVP and Russillo ends (GOAT!), I switch elsewhere.
